Scandexpo moves all orders online with Expomaster — powered by Exponatic
Swedish sign company Scandexpo has fully transitioned to online ordering across all their brands, using Expomaster — a platform built on Exponatic. CEO Lars Hektor reports more customers, fewer errors, and faster turnaround.
All orders at Scandexpo now go through their online portals — no more quote emails or manual back-and-forth.
Since switching to online ordering, Scandexpo has attracted more industry customers than before the transition.
Exact pricing and correct files from the start have significantly reduced misunderstandings and complaints.
About Scandexpo and Expomaster
Scandexpo, based in Höör, Sweden, is a sign manufacturer operating under three brands — serving both the sign industry and industrial manufacturing. About 85% of their business flows through resellers.
Their customer portal Expomaster allows customers to upload a logo, configure materials and sizes, preview the sign in a 3D environment — and receive an exact, often lower, price instantly. Customers can even see how their sign would look on a photo of the actual building façade.
What the CEO says
“I was called by one of our largest sign customers who said it was the best thing he’d seen in years. That made me very happy.”
— Lars Hektor, CEO, Scandexpo
Lars Hektor also highlighted the speed advantage: customers in a fast-moving industry no longer wait for quotes and sketches. Designers and agencies can immediately see which materials are available and how they affect pricing.
The transition
Scandexpo first launched online ordering for their industrial brand Scancut three years ago, allowing customers to upload CAD files for plastic and metal processing. In February 2025 they began migrating sign production to an online flow — and as of January 2026, all orders are fully digital.
While adoption in the industrial segment was instant, the sign industry saw a mixed response initially. But the numbers speak for themselves: more customers, fewer errors, and a faster production pipeline.
